Description

For our client, a transmission network, we are looking for a Data Analyst APMO (f/m/d) starting in May to support the project.

Hintergrund

The customer is preparing to introduce an asset performance management and optimization (APMO) solution to optimize the operation, maintenance, and replacement of an extra-high voltage grid. The Data Analyst (f/md) ensure that the implementation and data integration teams have the necessary input to deliver the requested business capabilities. The consultant will directly report to the Project Manager in a quality of DA team Lead. The team of Data Analysts itself will mostly be composed of consultants.

Exciting tasks await you

1. Lead a team of data analysts:

  • Ensure DA team’s progress within the agreed milestones
    • Preparation phase R1 (end of April 2023)
    • Preparation phase R2 (end of September 2023)
    • Implementation phase R1 (May-October 2023)
    • Implementation phase R2 (October 2023 – December 2023)
  • Support the DA’s team to gather the Business requirements (Risk & data models, Asset need types, Optimization module)
  • Support to the categorization of requirements: from top priority “must-have” that are in scope of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to longer term nice to have developments to be foreseen later in the roadmap

2. Develop the risk concepts in the Asset management necessary to the software functioning

3. Develop the data model

  • Support in the implement of the attributes in the Data platform
  • Identify IT architecture of the software
  • Identify problems related to the data quality

The project activities involve the following data science fields:

  • Data Collection and Cleaning: A data analyst should be able to collect data from various sources, and also be able to clean and transform it into a suitable format for analysis
  • Data Analysis & Data mining: The ability to analyze data using statistical and data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, R, Python, etc. Identify patterns and trends in large data sets
  • Data Visualization: The ability to visualize data using charts, graphs, and other visual aids to help communicate insights to others
  • Database Management: Knowledge of database systems and the ability to manage large data sets
  • Data Reporting: The ability to create reports, dashboards, and presentations that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders

These qualifications characterize you

Necessary competencies (must-haves):

  • Extensive experience in the field of Data analysis is a core prerequisite
  • Team management skills Language : Fluency in German and English is a mandatory prerequisite. French is a plus
  • Profound experience in Data Collection and Cleaning
  • Very good skills in Excel, SQL, R, Python
  • Profound experience in Database Management and Data Reporting

The following elements are considered as a plus:

  • TSO expertise
  • IT implementation expertise
  • Experience in similar projects
  • Programming: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL is often required for data analysis
